Q How Should I clean color sealed grout? BACK TO TOP
A Even color sealed grout needs to be cleaned periodically to prevent soil build-up. To minimize build-up, sweep, dust-mop or vacuum
surfaces regularly to remove loose soil and dust. Damp mop your floor regularly with a neutral no-rinse floor cleaner. Don’t use plain
water, it only removes water soluble dirt and may leave streaks. Neutral floor cleaners contain no acids, have a neutral pH, and will not
affect existing sealers. If build-up does occur, apply a neutral floor cleaner to the area to be cleaned and let the cleaner dwell a couple
minutes. Lightly scrub the grout lines with a soft nylon grout brush to loosen build-up, rinse with clean water and dry grout joints. Change
your cleaning water often, most soil build-up is caused by mopping with dirty water. Avoid ordinary household cleaners such as: bleach,
ammonia, vinegar, Pine-Sol ®, Murphy ® Oil Soap, Fabuloso ®, ect. Many cleaners commonly found in the home will damage grout color
sealers. Do not use steam cleaning or high pressure to clean your color sealed floors.
Q Can I change the color of my grout? BACK TO TOP
A Yes. Our color sealing process can change sanded grout from light to dark or dark to light with many different colors to choose from.
Save thousands by updating an old tile area instead of replacing it.

A If the grout was not properly cleaned and dried the color sealer will not adhere properly. This is one of the most important steps. In
most cases, a six step cleaning process, (including pressurized clean water rinse & extraction) is necessary to prepare the grout prior to
sealing. Color seal applied to grout that has been properly cleaned and maintained will last for years.

supposed to last for years? BACK TO TOP

There are also many different products on the market. A colored stain is sometimes added to a penetrating sealer (a method often used by
carpet cleaners) to seal grout and add color. These are not to be confused with color sealing. In fact, a penetrating sealer with pigment added
can discolor grout, making it look even worse. Colored stains are available in limited colors, whereas color sealers are available in any color.

away easily and, with minimal cleaning your grout look new for years to
come.
It's more cost effective than replacement and keeps your grout looking new...
Ceramic and porcelain tile are very durable and can last for decades but grout is extremely porous
and stains easily. These stains can become permanent and spoil the beauty of your floor. Don’t
replace a floor simply because it looks old and stained, let us show you how our process can undo
years of neglect and make your floor appear new again.
How is grout color sealing different from regular grout sealer’s ...
Most sealer’s on the market today, even expensive ones, are transparent (penetrating sealers) and
provide only stain resistance, which means you have a little more time to pick up a spill before it
permanently stains the grout. They do not render the grout stain proof. Our system creates a long-
lasting, durable layer of protection that returns the grout to its original color (or new color) and
prevents dirt and spills from absorbing into your grout. It’s the closest thing to stain proof grout
available.
